The BBBAwards Renewed Commitment Following COVID-19
We are all aware of the disproportionate adverse impact of past crises (9/11, 2008 financial crisis) on BAME professionals. The emerging evidence is that the COVID-19 human and economic impact will not be an exception to this trend. The BBBAwards team is committed to driving initiatives that can mitigate the likely impact. We are pleased to confirm that we will still be delivering the following programmes by leveraging technology and complying with social distancing guidance, beginning in the second half of 2020.
BAME Middle Manager Talent Accelerator
BAME in the Boardroom
BAME Action Research
The BAME Executive Sponsor Roundtable
The Black British Business Awards
Our focus is on helping companies to maintain momentum in attracting, retaining, progressing, rewarding and recognising BAME professionals in the UK. In renewing our commitment to serve, our priority is the health and safety of our team and community. Our team continues to focus on excellent execution of our plans for 2020 whilst working from home and thinking of innovative ways to reach our communities across the UK.
It is vital that we stay connected so throughout this time of difficulty and uncertainty. We will be sharing content on all of our social media platforms, and so please be sure to tag or share with us any content you have written or recorded to help individuals and businesses during this unprecedented time. We will keep you in the loop regarding any BBBAwards updates, and we are still here to support your efforts and to answer your questions.
We know that the period ahead will be tough on all of us, but we are resilient, and, together, we will get through this.
With warm regards and best wishes,
The BBBAwards Team
