Nadja Bellan-White is an Executive Partner for Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. Ogilvy & Mather is $1.5BN global communications company which is part of the $21BN WPP portfolio. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading the Brand Transformation for Unilever across Beauty and Personal Care focusing specifically on Dove and leading sustainability for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
She is known as the “fixer” - the person brands call when they are facing challenges in brand transformation.
Nadja utilises her 25+ year career in integrated marketing and communications to transform brands. Using her background in digital, brand, and consulting she has a unique approach that makes her an invaluable member of the team. During her career, Nadja has led brand transformations for such clients such as American Express, LG Electronics, IKEA North America, RBS Citizens, Bharti Airtel, Coca-Cola, Siemens, Safaricom/Vodafone. While in Africa, her team started Ogilvy’s Government Communications practice and worked with Presidents and Country leaders in driving business growth in countries like Kenya and Gabon.
As a member of the Enterprise Management Team, Nadja is one of the key architects of Ogilvy’s new growth strategy. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing new client engagement models for their Top 50 clients. This includes - but is not limited to integrating disciplines (i.e. media, brand planning, digital transformation, consumer engagement, retail, and corporate communications) and developing new partnerships.
Nadja is a champion of diversity and inclusion in the advertising and media industry. While at Ogilvy, she helped develop Ogilvy/WPP Roots - which is an organisation dedicated to driving cultural diversity and inclusion across the UK and Europe. In 2017, Nadja was the recipient of AdColor’s Legend Award for her excellence in advertising, media and communications, a recent 2019 recipient as one of Savoy Magazine’s top 100 Women in Corporate America and is currently part of the 2020 Class of the Executive Leadership Council.
Nadja is an A Better Chance, Inc. Scholar recipient; earned a BA in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from The University of Virginia in 1989 and an MBA from NYU - Stern School of Business in 1994.
She has served both a member and the President of Dubai Lynx, Creative Effectiveness Jury; member of the Council of Urban Professionals Board (NY); ADColor (NY); and a speaker on Purposeful Brands throughout universities in Europe and Africa.
Nadja currently resides in London with her family.
